Ingredients:

  • 200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
  • 150g butter
  • 150g caster sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 100g plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • a pinch of salt

To start, preheat your oven to 180°C. In a saucepan, melt the dark chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring until smooth. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy. Add in the melted chocolate mixture and orange zest, stirring well to combine.
