Today’s Special: Rosemary Lemon Tofu Stir-Fry

Hey there, foodies! Today, I’m excited to share a recipe that’s perfect for those busy weeknights when you want something healthy, flavorful, and quick to put together. This Rosemary Lemon Tofu Stir-Fry is a refreshing twist on a classic stir-fry dish, featuring a unique combination of ingredients that will surprise your taste buds.

For this recipe, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 200g extra-firm tofu, cubed
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • 100g snow peas, trimmed
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

To prepare this dish, you’ll need the following kitchen tools:

  • wok
  • chef’s knife
  • cutting board
  • measuring spoons
  • grater

Start by heating the wok over medium heat and adding olive oil. Toss in the cubed tofu and let it cook until it becomes golden brown and crispy on all sides. Remove the tofu from the wok and set it aside.

In the same wok, add the snow peas, red bell pepper, and broccoli florets. Stir-fry the vegetables until they are tender-crisp. Add the minced garlic, chopped rosemary, and lemon zest to the wok, and stir everything together.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey. Pour the mixture over the vegetables in the wok and stir to combine. Add the tofu back into the wok and toss everything together until well coated in the sauce.

Serve the Rosemary Lemon Tofu Stir-Fry hot, garnished with a sprinkle of fresh rosemary. This dish weighs approximately 800g when cooked and serves 4 people. Each serving is around 200g and has an estimated calorie count of 250.

A clever tip for this recipe is to marinate the tofu cubes in the soy sauce mixture before cooking. This will infuse the tofu with even more flavor and make it extra delicious.

I hope you give this unique and flavorful stir-fry a try in your own kitchen. Feel free to customize it with your favorite vegetables or protein. Enjoy!
