Today, I’m sharing a unique dessert recipe that’s perfect for any chocolate lover out there. This Decadent Chocolate Avocado Mousse is rich, creamy, and surprisingly healthy thanks to the addition of avocados. It’s a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth while still getting some nutrients in!

For this recipe, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados (approx. 400g)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder (approx. 50g)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup (approx. 80ml)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk (approx. 60ml)
  • a pinch of sea salt
  • fresh berries for garnish

To prepare this delicious dessert, you’ll need the following kitchen tools:

  • food processor
  • spatula
  • mixing bowl
  • ramekins

Start by scooping out the flesh of the ripe avocados and placing them in the food processor. Add in the cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, coconut milk, and a pinch of sea salt. Blend everything together until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the food processor as needed.

Once your mousse is smooth, divide it into individual ramekins and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set. Before serving, top with fresh berries for a burst of freshness and color.
