Today’s Creation: Spicy Pineapple Chicken Stir Fry

Hey there, foodies! Today, I’m excited to share with you my newest culinary creation: a Spicy Pineapple Chicken Stir Fry. This dish was inspired by a recent trip to Asia where I fell in love with the unique combination of sweet and spicy flavors. Perfect for any day of the week, this stir fry is sure to dazzle your taste buds with its bold and vibrant taste.

For this recipe, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • boneless, skinless chicken breast (250g)
  • pineapple chunks (200g)
  • red bell pepper (1, sliced)
  • onion (1, sliced)
  • garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • ginger (1-inch piece, grated)
  • soy sauce (2 tbsp)
  • honey (1 tbsp)
  • sriracha (1 tbsp)
  • vegetable oil (2 tbsp)
  • cooked rice (for serving)

To bring this dish to life, you’ll need the following kitchen tools:

  • wok
  • chef’s knife
  • cutting board
  • garlic press
  • grater
  • measuring spoons

Start by heating a wok over medium-high heat and adding vegetable oil. Once hot, add in the chicken strips and cook until lightly browned. Remove the chicken from the wok and set it aside.

In the same wok, add in the sliced onion, red bell pepper, garlic, and ginger. Stir fry until the vegetables are slightly tender. Next, return the chicken to the wok and add the pineapple chunks.

In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, and sriracha. Pour this sauce over the chicken and vegetables in the wok. Stir well to combine and let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until everything is heated through.

Serve the Spicy Pineapple Chicken Stir Fry over a bed of cooked rice and enjoy the explosion of flavors in every bite.

This dish weighs approximately 900g after cooking and serves 4 people. Each serving is around 225g and contains approximately 350 calories.

One unique tip for this dish is to marinate the chicken strips in a mixture of soy sauce, honey, and ginger for about 30 minutes before cooking. This will infuse the meat with extra flavor and tenderness.

I hope you give this Spicy Pineapple Chicken Stir Fry a try soon! Feel free to customize it with your favorite vegetables or adjust the spice level to suit your taste. Happy cooking!
