Unique Dessert: Coconut Mango Tiramisu

Today, I’m excited to share a dessert recipe that perfectly blends tropical flavors with a classic Italian favorite. This Coconut Mango Tiramisu is a refreshing twist on the traditional coffee-flavored treat, making it perfect for warm summer days or special occasions when you want to impress your guests with something truly unique.

Ingredients:

  • 150g ladyfingers
  • 200g mango puree
  • 250ml coconut cream
  • 250g mascarpone cheese
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp rum
  • 50g shredded coconut
  • for garnish

Kitchen Tools:

  • mixing bowl
  • whisk
  • saucepan
  • spatula
  • glass baking dish

To begin, combine the coconut cream, mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Use a whisk to blend everything together until smooth and creamy.

In a separate saucepan, gently heat the mango puree over low heat, stirring occasionally. Once the puree is warmed through, remove it from the heat and stir in the rum. Set aside to cool slightly.

Dip each ladyfinger into the mango-rum mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated but not soggy. Arrange a layer of the soaked ladyfingers at the bottom of a glass baking dish.

Spread a layer of the coconut cream mixture over the ladyfingers, then sprinkle with a portion of shredded coconut. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a final layer of the coconut cream.

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together and the tiramisu to set.

When ready to serve, garnish the Coconut Mango Tiramisu with fresh mint leaves for a pop of color and additional freshness. The combination of the tropical mango, creamy coconut, and rich mascarpone cheese creates a truly decadent and unique dessert experience.

Serving:

– Total weight of cooked dish: 950g
– Number of servings: 8
– Average weight per serving: 118g
– Approximate calorie count per serving: 320 calories

One clever tip for this recipe is to sprinkle a little extra shredded coconut on top of each serving just before serving. This adds a delightful crunch and enhances the tropical coconut flavor in every bite.

I hope you enjoy making this Coconut Mango Tiramisu as much as I do. Feel free to play around with the flavors and ingredients to make it your own. Happy cooking!
