Today, I’m excited to share a delightful fall dessert recipe with you all. As the weather cools down and the leaves change colors, there’s nothing quite like enjoying a warm and comforting treat. This apple rose puff pastry is not only visually stunning but also incredibly delicious, making it the perfect dessert for any autumn occasion.

Ingredients:

  • 2 sheets of puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 apples, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons apricot jam

To start, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut them into thin strips. In a bowl, mix the sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.

Next, brush each strip of puff pastry with melted butter and overlap the apple slices along the top edge. Roll up the pastry strips to form a rose shape and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the apples are tender.

In a small saucepan, heat the apricot jam until melted. Brush the warm jam over the apple roses to create a shiny glaze. Allow the pastries to cool slightly before serving.
