Today’s Fall Recipe: Spicy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread

Hey there, fellow foodies! Today, I’m excited to share a new favorite Fall recipe of mine: Spicy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread. This dish combines the warm, comforting flavors of pumpkin and spices with the decadent sweetness of chocolate chips — a delightful treat for those cool autumn days.

Ingredients:

  • 300g pumpkin puree
  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 150g sugar
  • 100g chocolate chips
  • 2 eggs
  • 100g butter, melted
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Kitchen Tools:

  • mixing bowl
  • whisk
  • spatula
  • loaf pan
  • oven

To start, preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a loaf pan with butter or cooking spray. In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, melted butter, sugar, and eggs. Mix well with a whisk until smooth. Add in the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, baking powder, and salt. Stir until just combined, then gently fold in the chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top with a spatula. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. The aroma of pumpkin and spices will fill your kitchen as it bakes, creating a cozy atmosphere.

Once baked, remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice the bread into thick slices and serve warm with a cup of hot tea or coffee, or enjoy it as a dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

This Spicy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread is perfect for breakfast, a snack, or even a dessert. The combination of pumpkin and spices with the sweet bursts of chocolate chips is truly irresistible. I hope you enjoy making and indulging in this delicious Fall treat!
