Today, I’m sharing a unique and flavorful dish that combines the warmth of pumpkin spice with the savory goodness of shrimp and pasta. This dish is perfect for cozy nights in or when you want to impress guests with something a little out of the ordinary.

Ingredients:

  • 200g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 250g pasta of your choice
  • 150g pumpkin puree
  • 200ml coconut milk
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • to taste
  • to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • for garnish

Kitchen Tools:

  • large skillet
  • pot
  • wooden spoon
  • grater

To start, cook the pasta according to package instructions. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic, ginger, and chili flakes, and sauté for a minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, then remove them from the skillet and set them aside.

In the same skillet, add the pumpkin puree, coconut milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined and simmer for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. Add the cooked shrimp back to the skillet and toss to coat.

Once the pasta is cooked and drained, add it to the skillet with the shrimp and pumpkin sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
