Dessert Delight: Raspberry Rosewater Tart

Today I’m sharing a recipe for a delicious and unique dessert that is perfect for a special occasion or just when you want to treat yourself to something sweet and indulgent. This Raspberry Rosewater Tart combines the tartness of fresh raspberries with the delicate floral notes of rosewater for a truly delightful flavor combination.

Ingredients:

  • fresh raspberries
  • sugar
  • butter, melted
  • rosewater
  • pre-made tart crust
  • egg, beaten

Kitchen Tools:

  • mixing bowl
  • spatula
  • tart pan
  • oven

To start, preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the fresh raspberries, sugar, melted butter, and rosewater. Gently mix everything together until the raspberries are coated in the sugar mixture.

Place the pre-made tart crust in a tart pan, then spoon the raspberry mixture into the crust, spreading it out evenly. Brush the beaten egg over the top of the tart to give it a beautiful golden glaze when baked.

Place the tart in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the raspberries are bubbling. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.

This Raspberry Rosewater Tart weighs approximately 500g once cooked and serves 6. Each serving is around 83g, with an estimated calorie count of 250 per serving.

For an extra special touch, sprinkle some edible rose petals over the top of the tart before serving. The floral aroma and delicate petals will add a beautiful finishing touch to this elegant dessert.
