As the weather gets warmer, I find myself craving the bold flavors of Szechuan cuisine combined with the ease and portability of tacos. Today, I’m sharing my recipe for Szechuan Spiced Tacos, a unique fusion dish that is sure to impress your taste buds.

Ingredients:

  • 250g ground pork
  • 30ml soy sauce
  • 10g Szechuan peppercorns
  • 15g chili garlic sauce
  • 50g green onions, chopped
  • 30g cilantro, chopped
  • 15ml lime juice
  • 6 corn tortillas

Kitchen Tools:

  • cutting board

To start, heat a skillet over medium heat and add the ground pork. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Add the soy sauce, Szechuan peppercorns, and chili garlic sauce. Stir well to combine and let it simmer for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

While the pork is cooking, warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet until they are soft and pliable. Keep them warm in a covered dish until ready to assemble the tacos.
