Ingredients:

  • salmon fillets (4 fillets, approximately 600g)
  • maple syrup (1/2 cup)
  • soy sauce (2 tbsp)
  • garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • ginger (1-inch piece, grated)
  • olive oil (2 tbsp)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools:

  • baking sheet
  • mixing bowl
  • whisk
  • frying pan
  • oven

Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl, combine the maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Whisk the mixture until well combined.

Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush them generously with the maple glaze. Reserve some of the glaze for later. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through.
