Spice Up Your Dinner Routine with Spicy Honey Glazed Pork Chops

Today, I’m excited to share a unique dish that combines my love for spicy flavors with a touch of sweetness. This dish is perfect for a cozy night in or a special gathering with friends. I call it Spicy Honey Glazed Pork Chops.

To make this dish, you will need the following ingredients:
– 4 bone-in pork chops (about 200g each)
– 2 tablespoons of honey
– 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
– 1 teaspoon of sriracha sauce
– 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
– 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh cilantro for garnish

For this recipe, you will need the following kitchen tools:

  • skillet
  • mixing bowl
  • tongs
  • meat thermometer

Start by seasoning the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the pork chops for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, sriracha sauce, garlic, and ginger.

Once the pork chops are seared, reduce the heat to low and pour the honey mixture over the chops. Allow the chops to simmer in the sauce for another 5-7 minutes, basting them with the sauce occasionally. Make sure to check the internal temperature of the pork chops with a meat thermometer – they should reach 145°F (63°C).

Once the pork chops are cooked through, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes. Drizzle any leftover sauce from the skillet over the chops and garnish with fresh cilantro.

The total weight of the cooked dish is approximately 800g, with 4 servings. Each serving weighs around 200g, with an estimated calorie count of 300 per serving.

One clever tip for this dish is to marinate the pork chops in the honey mixture for a few hours before cooking to enhance the flavors even more.

I hope you enjoy making and savoring these Spicy Honey Glazed Pork Chops as much as I do. Feel free to experiment with different levels of spice or sweetness to suit your taste preferences. Happy cooking!
