Welcome, foodies! Today I’m thrilled to share one of my favorite recipes that perfectly combines sweet, spicy, and savory flavors in every bite. These Spicy Mango Shrimp Tacos are a delightful twist on a classic taco dish, inspired by a sunny day at the beach. Let’s dive right into this mouthwatering recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 300g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 ripe mango, diced
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and diced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp chili powder, salt & pepper to taste
  • 6 small corn tortillas
  • 1 avocado, sliced

Kitchen Tools:

  • mixing bowl

To start, heat a skillet over medium heat and add the shrimp. Season with cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp is pink and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, combine diced mango, jalapeno, red onion, cilantro, and lime juice. Mix well to combine all the flavors. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Warm the corn tortillas in the skillet for 1-2 minutes on each side until they are soft and pliable. Assemble the tacos by filling each tortilla with shrimp, mango salsa, avocado slices, and an extra squeeze of lime juice on top.

Serve your Spicy Mango Shrimp Tacos fresh and hot, and enjoy the explosion of flavors with every bite!
