Today, I’m excited to share a new recipe with you that I recently created for a healthier dessert option. This dish combines a unique blend of ingredients that will surprise your taste buds and satisfy your sweet tooth in a guilt-free way.

For this recipe, you will need the following ingredients:

  • cooked quinoa
  • mashed avocado
  • cocoa powder
  • maple syrup
  • vanilla extract
  • salt
  • chopped walnuts

To bring this unique dessert to life, you will need the following kitchen tools:

  • mixing bowl
  • fork
  • spoon
  • measuring cups
  • baking dish

Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (180°C) and greasing a baking dish. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked quinoa, mashed avocado, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Use a fork to mash and mix everything together until well combined. Fold in the chopped walnuts until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are slightly crispy.

Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. This healthier dessert is best enjoyed warm, with a dollop of Greek yogurt or a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
