To start, gather the following ingredients with approximate weights: 250g cooked and mashed beetroot, 200g dark chocolate, 150g unsalted butter, 150g sugar, 3 eggs, 150g all-purpose flour, 1 tsp baking powder, and a pinch of salt.

Start by preheating your oven to 180°C and greasing a baking pan. In a saucepan, melt the dark chocolate and butter over low heat until smooth.
