Today, I’m excited to share a unique dish that combines the sweetness of peaches with savory pork chops. This recipe is perfect for a summer evening when you crave a meal that’s both comforting and refreshing.

Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in pork chops (about 200g each)
  • 2 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 50ml balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Kitchen Tools:

  • grill pan
  • mixing bowl
  • tongs
  • knife

To begin, preheat your grill pan over medium-high heat. Season the pork chops with salt, black pepper, and onion powder. In a mixing bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, and olive oil. Toss the sliced peaches in this mixture until well coated.

Place the seasoned pork chops on the hot grill pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add the peach slices to the grill, allowing them to caramelize slightly.

Once the pork chops are done, transfer them to a plate and top with the grilled peaches. Drizzle any remaining balsamic mixture over the chops for extra flavor. Serve hot and enjoy the unique combination of sweet and savory flavors in each bite.

The cooked dish weighs approximately 1000g and serves 4. Each serving is around 250g. One serving is estimated to be around 400 calories.
