Sensational Shrimp Curry Recipe: A Flavorful Delight for Any Occ

Today, I am excited to share a delicious and unique recipe that is perfect for a cozy night in or a special occasion. This dish combines the comforting flavors of creamy coconut milk, spicy curry, and tender shrimp to create a rich and flavorful curry dish that is sure to impress.

For this recipe, you will need the following ingredients:
– 300g shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 1 onion, diced
– 2 cloves of garlic, minced
– 1 red bell pepper, sliced
– 1 can of coconut milk
– 2 tbsp red curry paste
– 1 tbsp fish sauce
– 1 tbsp brown sugar
– Fresh cilantro, for garnish
– Cooked rice, for serving

Be sure to have the following kitchen tools on hand:

  • chef’s knife
  • cutting board
  • saucepan
  • wooden spoon

To start, heat some oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent. Next, add the red bell pepper and continue to cook until it starts to soften.

Once the vegetables are tender, add the red curry paste to the saucepan and stir to combine. Then, pour in the coconut milk, fish sauce, and brown sugar. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Add the shrimp to the pan and cook until they are pink and opaque, stirring occasionally. This should only take a few minutes, as shrimp cook quickly. Be careful not to overcook them, as they can become tough.

Once the shrimp are cooked through, remove the pan from the heat. Taste the curry and adjust the seasoning, adding more fish sauce or sugar if needed. Serve the shrimp curry over cooked rice and garnish with fresh cilantro.
