Mixed Berry Coconut Crumble

Today, I’m excited to share with you my latest creation – a delightful mixed berry coconut crumble. This dish is perfect for those warm summer evenings when you want something sweet and comforting. The combination of vibrant mixed berries and crispy coconut crumble is truly a match made in heaven.

Ingredients:

  • 500g
  • 100g
  • 150g
  • 100g
  • 150g
  • 1 tsp

Kitchen Tools:

  • mixing bowl
  • baking dish
  • oven

I start by preheating my oven to 180°C. In a mixing bowl, I combine the almond flour, brown sugar, coconut flakes, and cinnamon. Next, I cube the butter and rub it into the dry ingredients until it resembles coarse breadcrumbs.

In a separate baking dish, I place the mixed berries in an even layer. Then, I sprinkle the coconut crumble mixture on top of the berries, covering them completely.

I pop the dish into the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crumble is golden brown and the berries are bubbling. The aroma that fills my kitchen is simply irresistible – the sweet scent of berries mixed with the toasty coconut is a true delight.

Once the crumble is done, I take it out of the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. The combination of the warm, juicy berries and the crispy, coconutty crumble is a textural and flavorful sensation that will leave you wanting more.

This mixed berry coconut crumble weighs approximately 1000g after cooking and serves 6 people. Each serving is around 166g and contains roughly 280 calories.

One clever tip for this recipe is to sprinkle some extra coconut flakes on top of the crumble before baking for an added crunch and coconut flavor.
