Decadent Dark Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Tart

As the weather cools down and the holidays approach, I find myself craving rich, indulgent desserts to cozy up with on chilly evenings. Today, I’m excited to share my recipe for a Decadent Dark Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Tart. The combination of deep, bittersweet chocolate and tart raspberries makes for a truly luxurious treat that is perfect for any special occasion or simply a night in by the fireplace.

Ingredients:

  • 200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
  • 100g butter
  • 150ml whipping cream
  • 150g raspberries
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • a pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp shredded coconut

Kitchen Tools:

  • medium saucepan
  • mixing bowl
  • whisk
  • 9-inch tart pan
  • spatula

To begin, melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. In a separate mixing bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Slowly pour the melted chocolate mixture into the whipped cream, stirring gently to combine.

Next, pour the chocolate truffle filling into a 9-inch tart pan lined with parchment paper. Arrange the fresh raspberries on top of the filling, pressing them in slightly. Drizzle the honey over the raspberries, then sprinkle the cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and shredded coconut on top.

Chill the tart in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until set. Once the tart has firmed up, remove it from the pan and slice into elegant portions. Serve chilled and savor each bite of this decadent, velvety tart.

The approximate total weight of the cooked tart is 600g, with 8 servings at 75g each. Each serving is estimated to have around 300 calories.

One clever tip for this recipe is to sprinkle a touch of sea salt over the top of the tart before serving to enhance the flavors and add a subtle contrast to the sweetness.

I hope you enjoy creating and sharing this Decadent Dark Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Tart with your loved ones. Feel free to customize the toppings with your favorite fruits or nuts to make it your own special dessert. Happy baking!
