As the seasons transition from spring to summer, I find myself craving a unique and indulgent burger recipe to kick off the warmer weather. Today, I am thrilled to share my latest creation: the Peanut Butter Bacon Burger. This unexpected flavor combination will surely surprise and delight your taste buds.

Ingredients:

  • 500g ground beef (80% lean)
  • 100g peanut butter
  • 6 bacon strips
  • 4 cheddar cheese slices
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1/2 red onion (sliced)
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato (sliced)
  • to taste

To start, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. While the grill is heating up, divide the ground beef into four equal portions and shape them into patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper.

Next, cook the bacon strips in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.

Place the burger patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. During the last couple of minutes of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty to melt.

While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill until lightly golden brown.
