Preparation

Start by washing and hulling the fresh strawberries. Slice them into thin rounds and set aside. Next, cut the halloumi cheese into slices of about half an inch thick. Crush the pistachios lightly with a mortar and pestle or a knife to get small fragments for topping the dish. In a small bowl, mix the honey and balsamic vinegar together to create a sweet and tangy dressing.

Heat up a grill pan over medium-high heat and place the halloumi cheese slices on it. Grill for 1-2 minutes on each side until they develop grill marks and are slightly softened. Remove the halloumi from the pan and set aside.

Assembling the Dish

On a serving plate, arrange the grilled halloumi slices and fresh strawberry rounds in an alternating pattern. Drizzle the honey-balsamic dressing over the top.
