Creative Caramelized Banana Tart

Today, I am excited to share a delightful dessert recipe that combines the sweetness of caramelized bananas with a crispy tart crust. This dish is perfect for a cozy night in or a gathering with friends.

Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe bananas (sliced)
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 50g butter
  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Kitchen Tools:

  • knife

Start by preheating your oven to 180°C. Next, take the pre-made pie crust and roll it out on a floured surface. Place the rolled-out crust in a tart pan, pressing it gently to fit the shape. Set aside.

In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together until bubbly. Add in the sliced bananas, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Cook for a few minutes until the bananas are caramelized and coated with the sugar mixture.

Pour the caramelized banana mixture into the prepared tart shell, spreading it out evenly. Place the tart in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and crispy.

Once done, remove the tart from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra special treat.
