Introducing: Vanilla Bean Chicken with Raspberry Balsamic Glaze

I’m excited to share a unique and flavorful recipe with you today that is perfect for a special occasion or a cozy dinner at home. This Vanilla Bean Chicken with Raspberry Balsamic Glaze is a delightful combination of savory and sweet flavors that will surely impress your taste buds.

Ingredients:

  • boneless, skinless chicken breasts (400g)
  • vanilla bean
  • raspberry jam (50g)
  • balsamic vinegar (50ml)
  • olive oil (30ml)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools:

  • skillet
  • chef’s knife
  • cutting board
  • measuring cups
  • measuring spoons

To start, slice the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Rub the vanilla bean seeds all over the chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.

In the same skillet, add the raspberry jam and balsamic vinegar. Stir to combine and let it simmer until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it with the raspberry balsamic glaze.

Serve the Vanilla Bean Chicken with Raspberry Balsamic Glaze hot, garnished with fresh raspberries and a sprinkle of chopped mint for a burst of freshness.

The total weight of the cooked dish is approximately 500g, with 2 servings at 250g each. Each serving is estimated to be around 350 calories.

One unique tip for this dish is to save the scraped vanilla bean pod after using the seeds. Place it in a jar of sugar to make your own vanilla sugar for baking or sweetening your coffee.

I encourage you to give this recipe a try and make it your own by adding your favorite herbs or spices to customize the flavors. Enjoy!
