Melt-in-Your-Mouth Mac ‘n Cheese

I’m excited to share one of my all-time favorite comfort food recipes today: a decadent and creamy mac ‘n cheese that will melt in your mouth with every bite. This dish is perfect for a cozy night in or a special occasion when you’re craving some serious comfort food.

Ingredients:

  • 200g macaroni
  • 250g cheddar cheese
  • 100g parmesan cheese
  • 100g cream cheese
  • 300ml milk
  • 50g butter
  • 50g bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

Kitchen Tools:

  • whisk
  • ovenproof dish

To start, cook the macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the milk, cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, and cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Season with smoked paprika for a hint of warmth.

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). In a separate pot, combine the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce, stirring until well coated. Transfer the mac ‘n cheese mixture to an ovenproof dish. In a small bowl, mix the bread crumbs with a drizzle of melted butter and sprinkle over the top.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbling. The aroma of melted cheese and crispy breadcrumbs will fill your kitchen, signaling that your mac ‘n cheese is ready to be devoured.

Once out of the oven, let it rest for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. Serve piping hot and enjoy the creamy, cheesy goodness of this melt-in-your-mouth mac ‘n cheese.
