Ingredients:

  • cod fillets, cut into chunks
  • shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • clams, scrubbed
  • mussels, scrubbed and debearded
  • onion, diced
  • green bell pepper, diced
  • celery stalks, diced
  • garlic, minced
  • diced tomatoes
  • fish stock
  • dried thyme
  • paprika
  • cayenne pepper
  • <li data-ingredient="Salt and pepper to taste

To start, heat some oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add in the onions, bell pepper, and celery, and sauté until softened. Stir in the garlic, thyme, paprika, and cayenne pepper, cooking for another minute until fragrant.

Next, pour in the diced tomatoes and fish stock, bringing the mixture to a simmer. Add in the clams and mussels, covering the pot and allowing them to steam until they start to open. Then, add in the cod and shrimp, cooking until the seafood is opaque and cooked through.

Season the stew with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley. This stew pairs perfectly with a slice of crusty bread to soak up all the delicious flavors.
