I’m excited to share a brand-new recipe with you today that is perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth in a healthy way. I was inspired to create this dessert by the abundance of fresh fruits in season right now and wanted to showcase their natural sweetness in a unique and delicious way.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe mango (200g)
  • 1/2 cup of coconut milk (120ml)
  • 2 tablespoons of chia seeds (30g)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey (20g)
  • Handful of sliced almonds for garnish

Kitchen Tools:

  • blender
  • mixing bowl
  • ramekins

To start, peel and dice the ripe mango, then place it in a blender along with the coconut milk. Blend until smooth and creamy. In a mixing bowl, combine the mango-coconut mixture with chia seeds and honey. Stir well to ensure the chia seeds are evenly distributed.

Divide the mixture into ramekins and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results. The chia seeds will absorb the liquid and create a pudding-like consistency.

When ready to serve, garnish with a sprinkling of sliced almonds for added crunch and nuttiness. This healthy dessert is not only delicious but also packed with fiber, healthy fats, and vitamins.

The total weight of the cooked dish is approximately 400g, and it yields 4 servings. Each serving is around 100g and contains approximately 150 calories.

One unique tip for this recipe is to sprinkle some cinnamon on top before serving. The warm, spicy flavor of cinnamon pairs perfectly with the tropical sweetness of the mango and coconut.
