Today’s Recipe: Maple Glazed Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies

I’m excited to share this unique and indulgent recipe with you all today. This combination of sweet and savory flavors is a real treat for the taste buds. Whether you’re looking for a special dessert to impress your guests or just want to satisfy your own cravings, these Maple Glazed Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies are sure to be a hit.

Ingredients:

  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 250g all-purpose flour
  • 200g brown sugar
  • 150g chocolate chips
  • 150g unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 100ml maple syrup
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Kitchen Tools:

  • mixing bowl
  • whisk
  • baking sheet
  • oven

To start, preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and brown sugar, and whisk until smooth. Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the maple syrup until fully incorporated.

Next, sift in the flour, baking soda, and salt, and mix until just combined. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and crumbled bacon, reserving a small amount of each for topping the cookies later.

Using a cookie scoop or a spoon, drop dollops of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie. Top each cookie with a few extra chocolate chips and bacon crumbles for a beautiful presentation.

Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. The cookies will be soft when you take them out of the oven but will firm up as they cool. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Approximate total weight of cooked dish: 800g
Approximate number of servings: 12 cookies
Average weight of one serving: 67g
Approximate calorie count per serving: 280 calories

One tip I have for these cookies is to drizzle a little extra maple syrup on top right before serving. It adds a final touch of sweetness and makes them even more irresistible.

I hope you give these Maple Glazed Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies a try and enjoy them as much as I do. Feel free to experiment with different types of chocolate or add in some nuts for extra crunch. Make this recipe your own and have fun in the kitchen!
