I’m excited to share a special recipe that combines unexpected flavors for a one-of-a-kind dessert experience. This Spicy Chocolate Avocado Mousse is perfect for when you’re craving something rich and indulgent with a twist.

For this recipe, you’ll need:

  • 2 ripe avocados (peeled and pitted)
  • 50g cocoa powder
  • 100ml maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 80ml coconut milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • a pinch of sea salt

Prepare your kitchen tools:

  • food processor
  • spatula
  • measuring cups
  • mixing bowl

Start by scooping the flesh of the ripe avocados into a food processor. Add the cocoa powder, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, coconut milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt. Blend everything until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides with a spatula as needed.

Taste the mousse and adjust the sweetness or spiciness to your liking by adding more maple syrup or cayenne pepper if needed. Once you’re satisfied with the flavor, transfer the mousse to a bowl and refrigerate for at least an hour to let the flavors meld together.

When ready to serve, spoon the Spicy Chocolate Avocado Mousse into individual bowls or glasses. You can garnish with a sprinkle of cocoa powder or a dollop of coconut whipped cream for an extra touch of indulgence.
