Ingredients:

  • boneless chicken breast (150g)
  • fresh pineapple (100g)
  • feta cheese (50g)
  • red bell pepper (1/2)
  • soy sauce (1/4 cup)
  • honey (1 tbsp)
  • garlic (2 cloves)
  • ginger (1 tsp)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools:

  • cutting board
  • grill pan
  • mixing bowl
  • tongs

To start, preheat your grill pan over medium heat. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper and place it on the grill pan. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

While the chicken is cooking, chop the fresh pineapple, red bell pepper, and feta cheese into small pieces. In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and ginger to make a marinade.

Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the grill pan and slice it into strips. Place the chicken strips back into the pan and pour the soy sauce marinade over them. Add the chopped pineapple and red bell pepper to the pan as well. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Finally, sprinkle the feta cheese over the top of the dish before serving. The salty feta cheese pairs perfectly with the sweet and savory flavors of the dish.

Tips for a Unique Twist:

For an extra burst of flavor, try grilling the pineapple before adding it to the dish. The caramelized edges will add a delightful smokiness to the overall flavor profile.
