Today, I’m excited to share a unique and indulgent dessert recipe that combines the sweetness of blackberries with the savory tang of balsamic vinegar and the fresh aroma of basil. This Blackberry Basil Balsamic Tart is perfect for a summer dinner party or a special treat for yourself.

Ingredients:

  • fresh blackberries
  • sugar
  • balsamic vinegar
  • store-bought pie crust
  • fresh basil leaves

Kitchen Tools:

  • oven
  • mixing bowl
  • pie dish

To start, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out the store-bought pie crust and press it into a pie dish, trimming off any excess dough. In a mixing bowl, combine the fresh blackberries, sugar, and balsamic vinegar. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.

Chop the fresh basil leaves and sprinkle them over the top of the blackberry mixture. Place the tart in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.

Once the tart is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for at least 15 minutes before serving. This tart can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature.
