Refreshing Cucumber Mint Lemonade

Today, I am excited to share with you a recipe for a refreshing cucumber mint lemonade. With the heat of summer in full swing, this thirst-quenching beverage is the perfect way to cool down and relax on a sunny afternoon.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cucumber (150g)
  • 2 lemons (90g)
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves (10g)
  • 1/2 cup sugar (100g)
  • 4 cups water (960ml)

  • fine mesh strainer
  • pitcher

To start, peel and chop the cucumber, then place it in a blender. Squeeze the juice of the lemons into the blender, making sure to remove any seeds. Add in the fresh mint leaves, sugar, and water. Blend everything until smooth.

Next, strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher to remove any pulp. You should be left with a smooth, vibrant green liquid.

Refrigerate the lemonade for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld together and chill. When you’re ready to serve, pour the lemonade into glasses filled with ice. Garnish with a slice of cucumber or a sprig of mint for an extra touch of freshness.
