Today, I am excited to share a unique recipe that was inspired by my recent trip to a tropical island. The flavors and aromas of the local cuisine left a lasting impression on me, and I wanted to recreate that experience in my own kitchen. This dish combines unexpected ingredients in a delicious and surprising way that is sure to delight your taste buds.

Ingredients:

  • dragon fruit (200g)
  • lemongrass (2 stalks)
  • coconut milk (400ml)
  • galangal (50g)
  • lobster tail (250g)

Kitchen Tools:

  • chef’s knife
  • cutting board
  • saucepan
  • wooden spoon

Preparation:

Start by cutting the dragon fruit into cubes and finely slicing the lemongrass. In a saucepan, combine the coconut milk, sliced galangal, and lemongrass. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, allowing the flavors to infuse for about 10 minutes.

While the coconut milk mixture is simmering, prepare the lobster tail by removing the meat from the shell and cutting it into bite-sized pieces. Once the coconut milk has infused, add the lobster meat and cubed dragon fruit to the saucepan. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the lobster is cooked through.

Tips:

For an extra burst of flavor, you can add a squeeze of lime juice and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro before serving. This will enhance the tropical flavors of the dish and add a refreshing twist.

Serving:

Once the lobster and dragon fruit stew is cooked, divide it into serving bowls and garnish with fresh cilantro. This dish is best enjoyed hot, served with steamed rice or crusty bread to soak up the flavorful coconut milk broth.

The total weight of the cooked dish is approximately 900g, with 4 servings. Each serving weighs around 225g, with an estimated calorie count of 300 per serving.
