Hey there, foodies! I’m excited to share this delicious and flavorful spicy tofu stir-fry recipe with you today. This dish is perfect for a quick and easy dinner that packs a punch of heat and savory goodness. Let’s get cooking!

Ingredients:

  • 300g firm tofu, cubed
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • for garnish

Kitchen Tools:

  • chef’s knife
  • cutting board
  • wooden spoon
  • measuring spoons

To start, heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté until fragrant. Toss in cubed tofu and cook until lightly browned on all sides.

Next, add sliced bell peppers, onion, and broccoli florets to the wok. Drizzle soy sauce, sriracha sauce, rice vinegar, and brown sugar over the vegetables and tofu. Stir well to combine all the ingredients and let the flavors meld together.

Continue cooking the stir-fry until the vegetables are tender-crisp and the tofu is heated through. This should take about 5-7 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Once everything is cooked to perfection, remove the wok from heat. Serve the spicy tofu stir-fry hot, garnished with sesame seeds for extra crunch and flavor.

This spicy tofu stir-fry weighs approximately 900g total and serves 4 people. Each serving is about 225g, with an estimated calorie count of 300 per serving.
