Delicious Caramelized Banana Bread Pudding Recipe

I’m excited to share this unique and mouthwatering dessert recipe with you today. After a long day of work, I found some overripe bananas in my kitchen that were perfect for this indulgent treat. This recipe is a twist on the classic bread pudding, incorporating caramelized bananas for a rich and flavorful dessert that’s sure to impress.

Ingredients:

  • 200g cubed bread
  • 3 overripe bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 250ml milk
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

To start, preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). In a saucepan, melt a tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add sliced bananas and sprinkle with brown sugar. Cook until the bananas are caramelized, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Add the cubed bread and caramelized bananas, stirring gently to combine. Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes to allow the bread to absorb the liquid.

Pour the bread pudding mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes until set and golden brown on top. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
