This Coconut Matcha Panna Cotta is a perfect treat for any occasion, from a fancy dinner party to a casual afternoon snack. Let’s dive into the recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 400ml coconut milk
  • 3 tbsp green tea powder (matcha)
  • 15g gelatin powder
  • 100g sugar
  • 100ml water

Kitchen Tools:

  • saucepan
  • whisk
  • measuring cup
  • ramekins

I start by blooming the gelatin in cold water, allowing it to soften and dissolve. In a saucepan, I combine the coconut milk and sugar, heating it gently until the sugar is fully dissolved. Once the milk is warm, I whisk in the matcha powder until it’s well incorporated and no lumps remain.

Next, I add the bloomed gelatin to the mixture, stirring continuously until everything is smooth and velvety. I then pour the mixture into ramekins, filling them about three-quarters full. The panna cotta is then chilled in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until set.

Once the panna cotta is set, I gently run a knife around the edges of each ramekin and invert the dessert onto a plate. The Coconut Matcha Panna Cotta is now ready to be served, with its vibrant green color and delicate coconut flavor.

This recipe makes approximately 6 servings, with each serving weighing around 150g. One serving of this Coconut Matcha Panna Cotta contains approximately 250 calories.

For a fun twist, try sprinkling shredded toasted coconut on top of the panna cotta before serving. It adds a lovely crunch and extra coconut flavor to the dessert.
