This unique twist on traditional cannoli features a delicious blend of spiced pumpkin and creamy ricotta filling, all wrapped up in a crispy, flaky shell. It’s the perfect treat for autumn gatherings or cozy nights in.

Ingredients:

  • 200g pumpkin puree
  • 250g ricotta cheese
  • 100g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 50g chopped pecans
  • 6 cannoli shells

Kitchen Tools:

  • frying pan

To start, in a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well combined. Fold in the chopped pecans for added crunch and flavor.

Next, heat a frying pan over medium heat. Take one cannoli shell and carefully wrap it around a cannoli mold to create a tube shape. Gently fry the shell in the pan until golden and crispy, then remove and let cool.

Once the shells are cooled, fill a piping bag with the pumpkin ricotta mixture. Carefully pipe the filling into each cannoli shell, making sure to fill them completely.
