This dish combines the sweetness of ripe pears with the boldness of Gorgonzola cheese, all atop a crispy flatbread crust. It’s the perfect blend of savory and sweet, making it ideal for a cozy night in or a fall gathering with friends.

Ingredients:

  • 1 store-bought flatbread crust (approximately 200g)
  • 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced (approximately 150g)
  • 100g Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 50g walnuts, chopped

To start, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the flatbread crust on a baking sheet. Layer the thinly sliced pear on top, followed by the crumbled Gorgonzola cheese. Drizzle the honey over the top and sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves and chopped walnuts.

Bake the flatbread in the oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crust is crispy. Keep an eye on it towards the end to prevent burning.
