Today, I’m excited to share a unique dessert recipe that has become a favorite in my household. This Chocolate Avocado Mousse is not only decadent and rich but also surprisingly healthy thanks to the addition of avocados. It’s a perfect treat for any occasion, and I can’t wait for you to try it!

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 60g cocoa powder
  • 60ml honey
  • 5ml vanilla extract
  • 120ml milk
  • 30g chocolate chips
  • a pinch of sea salt

Kitchen Tools:

  • food processor
  • mixing bowl
  • spatula
  • measuring cups
  • whisk

To start, scoop out the flesh of the ripe avocados and place them in a food processor. Add the cocoa powder, honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt. Blend everything together until smooth and creamy. You may need to scrape down the sides of the food processor a few times to ensure everything is well incorporated.

Next, gently heat the milk in a saucepan until it is just about to simmer. Add the chocolate chips to the warm milk and whisk until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth. Allow it to cool slightly before pouring it into the avocado mixture.

Blend everything together again until you have a silky smooth mousse. Transfer the mousse to a mixing bowl and refrigerate for at least an hour to allow it to set.

Once the mousse has set, you can spoon it into individual serving glasses and top with some extra chocolate chips or whipped cream if desired. This Chocolate Avocado Mousse is best enjoyed chilled and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two days.

Tip:
