Today I’m excited to share with you a unique and delightful dish that perfectly combines the sweetness of honey with the floral notes of lavender. These Lavender Honey Roasted Carrots are the perfect side dish for a special occasion or a cozy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 600g carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 30ml olive oil
  • 45ml honey
  • 5g dried lavender
  • to taste
  • to taste

Kitchen Tools:

  • baking sheet
  • mixing bowl
  • measuring spoons
  • oven

To start, preheat your oven to 200°C. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced carrots, olive oil, honey, dried lavender, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together until the carrots are well coated with the mixture.

Spread the carrots out in a single layer on a baking sheet. Place in the preheated oven and roast for 25-30 minutes, or until the carrots are tender and caramelized, stirring halfway through cooking.

Once the carrots are roasted to perfection, remove them from the oven and transfer to a serving dish. Sprinkle some extra dried lavender on top for a pop of color and flavor.
