Mouthwatering Maple Glazed Salmon

I’m excited to share this delicious and unique recipe for Maple Glazed Salmon today. The combination of sweet maple syrup and savory salmon creates a flavor profile unlike any other. This dish is perfect for a cozy night in or a special dinner with loved ones.

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools:

  • baking sheet
  • mixing bowl
  • whisk
  • frying pan

Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl, combine the maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Whisk everything together until well combined.

Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush the maple glaze generously over each fillet. Reserve some of the glaze for later. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

While the salmon is baking, heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add the remaining maple glaze to the pan and let it simmer until it thickens slightly. This will be used as a drizzle for the cooked salmon.

Once the salmon is done baking, remove it from the oven and carefully transfer it to a serving plate. Drizzle the thickened maple glaze over the salmon fillets for an extra burst of flavor.

Total weight of cooked dish: 800g
Number of servings: 4
Average weight of one serving: 200g
Approximate calorie count per serving: 350 calories

One clever tip for this recipe is to marinate the salmon in the maple glaze for an hour before baking. This will allow the flavors to penetrate the fish and result in an even more delicious dish.

I hope you give this Maple Glazed Salmon recipe a try and enjoy it as much as I do. Feel free to customize it with your favorite herbs or spices to make it your own. Happy cooking!
