Today’s Unique Creation: Lemon Dill Salmon Pasta

As summer begins to fade into fall, I find myself craving comforting yet vibrant dishes that capture the essence of both seasons. That’s why today, I’m excited to share with you my latest creation: Lemon Dill Salmon Pasta. This dish is a delightful blend of fresh seafood, zesty citrus, and fragrant herbs that will transport your taste buds to a sunny seaside retreat.

To bring this dish to life, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • salmon fillet (150g)
  • linguine pasta (100g)
  • lemon juice (30ml)
  • fresh dill (10g)
  • cherry tomatoes (50g)
  • olive oil (15ml)
  • garlic cloves (2)
  • salt and pepper to taste

For this recipe, you’ll need the following kitchen tools:

  • knife
  • cutting board
  • frying pan
  • pot
  • grater
  • tongs

Start by boiling a pot of salted water for the pasta. While the water heats up, season the salmon fillet with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil. In a hot frying pan, sear the salmon skin-side down until crispy, then flip and cook until just opaque in the center. Set aside.

In the same pan, sauté minced garlic and halved cherry tomatoes until softened. Add cooked linguine to the pan with a splash of pasta water, lemon juice, and finely chopped dill. Toss everything together until well combined and fragrant.

To serve, place a nest of pasta on a plate, top with flaked salmon, and garnish with extra dill and lemon zest. The bright flavors of the lemon and dill complement the richness of the salmon beautifully, making each bite a symphony of tastes and textures.

The total weight of the cooked Lemon Dill Salmon Pasta is approximately 400g, with 2 servings at 200g each. Each serving is around 350 calories.

One unique tip for this dish is to add a sprinkle of lemon zest right before serving. The citrus oils in the zest will elevate the flavors and add a burst of freshness to the dish.

I hope you give this Lemon Dill Salmon Pasta a try and enjoy every bite. Feel free to customize it with your favorite seasonal vegetables or herbs to make it your own. Happy cooking!
