Greetings, foodies! Today, I’m excited to share with you a dish inspired by the eccentric and colorful works of the legendary artist, Pablo Picasso. This recipe combines vibrant ingredients and bold flavors to create a truly unique culinary experience. Get ready to unleash your inner artist in the kitchen!

Ingredients:

  • dried squid ink pasta (200g)
  • saffron threads (1g)
  • purple cauliflower florets (150g)
  • blood orange segments (100g)
  • chopped pistachios (50g)
  • crumbled goat cheese (50g)
  • fresh dill leaves (10g)
  • olive oil (30ml)
  • sea salt to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools:

  • large pot
  • saute pan
  • colander
  • knife
  • cutting board
  • citrus juicer

To start, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the dried squid ink pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta in a colander and set aside.

In a saute pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the saffron threads and purple cauliflower florets, and saute until the cauliflower is tender and slightly caramelized. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Once the cauliflower is cooked, add the blood orange segments to the pan and gently toss to combine. Allow the flavors to meld together for a few minutes before adding the cooked squid ink pasta to the pan. Mix everything together until well combined.

Remove the pan from the heat and transfer the pasta mixture to a serving platter. Sprinkle the crumbled goat cheese, chopped pistachios, and fresh dill leaves on top. Finish with an extra drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of sea salt and black pepper.

Give your Eccentric Picasso Pasta a gentle toss to ensure all the ingredients are evenly distributed. This dish is best enjoyed fresh and warm, allowing the flavors to shine brightly on your plate.
