Introducing: Caramelized Apple and Bacon Stuffed Pork Tenderloin

Hey there, foodies! Today, I’m excited to share one of my all-time favorite fall dishes: Caramelized Apple and Bacon Stuffed Pork Tenderloin. The savory-sweet combination of tender pork, crispy bacon, and caramelized apples is sure to be a hit with your family and friends. It’s the perfect dish to celebrate the changing seasons and indulge in some heartwarming flavors.

Ingredients:

  • pork tenderloin (approx. 700g)
  • apples (approx. 3 medium)
  • bacon strips (approx. 8)
  • brown sugar (approx. 50g)
  • butter (approx. 30g)
  • cinnamon (approx. 1 tsp)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools:

  • meat mallet
  • frying pan
  • oven-safe dish

To start, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Using a meat mallet, flatten the pork tenderloin to an even thickness. Season with salt and pepper on both sides.

Next, cook the diced bacon in a frying pan until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the pan. In the same pan, add butter, diced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cook until the apples are caramelized and softened.

Spread the caramelized apples on top of the pork tenderloin, then sprinkle the crispy bacon over the apples. Roll up the tenderloin tightly and secure with kitchen twine.

Place the stuffed pork tenderloin in an oven-safe dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

This Caramelized Apple and Bacon Stuffed Pork Tenderloin weighs approximately 1200g after cooking, serves 4 people, with each serving weighing around 300g. A serving contains approximately 450 calories.

One unique tip for this recipe is to sear the stuffed pork tenderloin in a hot pan before baking to add extra flavor and color to the dish. This step enhances the overall presentation and taste of the meal.

I hope you give this recipe a try and savor the delicious combination of flavors. Feel free to customize it with your favorite seasonings or additional ingredients. Happy cooking!
