Fiery Fusion: Spicy Mango Shrimp Tacos for Summer Delight

Today’s Special: Spicy Mango Shrimp Tacos

Hello foodies! Today, I am excited to share with you a recipe that combines the sweetness of mango with the heat of spicy shrimp in a delicious taco. This dish is perfect for a summer gathering or simply when you’re craving a burst of flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 250g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 ripe mango, diced
  • 1 jalapeno, finely chopped
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Handful of fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 6 small corn tortillas
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools:

  • mixing bowl

To start, season the shrimp with cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the shrimp until pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, combine diced mango, jalapeno, red onion, lime juice, and cilantro. Mix well to combine all the flavors.

Warm the corn tortillas in the skillet for about 30 seconds on each side. Assemble the tacos by placing a few shrimp on each tortilla, followed by a spoonful of the mango salsa.

Serve the spicy mango shrimp tacos warm and enjoy the explosion of flavors in every bite!
