Chocolate Avocado Mousse

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados (about 400g)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder (50g)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (60ml)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (120ml)
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Kitchen Tools:

  • food processor
  • measuring cups
  • measuring spoons

Start by scooping the flesh of the ripe avocados into a food processor. Add in the cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, almond milk, and salt. Blend everything together until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.

Divide the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow it to set. Once chilled, you can garnish with fresh berries, chopped nuts, or a sprinkle of cocoa powder.

The total weight of the cooked dish is approximately 560g, with 4 servings at around 140g each. Each serving is roughly 200 calories.
