As the weather starts to cool down and fall approaches, I find myself craving warm and comforting dishes that pack a punch of flavor. That’s why today, I’m excited to share my recipe for Spicy Mango Curry Meatballs. This dish combines the sweetness of mango with the heat of curry for a truly unique and delicious flavor experience.

To start, gather the following ingredients:

  • 500g ground beef
  • 50g breadcrumbs
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 mango, diced
  • 2 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 200ml coconut milk
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Next, make sure you have the following kitchen tools ready:

  • mixing bowl
  • baking sheet
  • skillet
  • wooden spoon

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, diced onion, diced mango, curry powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until well combined, then shape the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.

While the meatballs are baking, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the coconut milk and any remaining mango pieces to the skillet, stirring to combine. Once the meatballs are cooked, add them to the skillet with the mango coconut sauce, tossing to coat.

Serve the Spicy Mango Curry Meatballs hot, garnished with fresh cilantro. This dish is perfect on its own or served over rice for a complete meal.
