Today, I’m sharing a recipe that combines the comforting flavors of fall with a touch of elegance. This dish reminds me of cozy evenings spent by the fireplace, savoring each bite of tender meat with a hint of floral sweetness. I hope it brings warmth and joy to your table as well.

Ingredients:

  • 4 pork chops (approx. 600g)
  • 1/4 cup of honey (60ml)
  • 1 tbsp of dried lavender
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools:

  • knife

Preparation:

Start by seasoning the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the pork chops until they are golden brown on the outside, about 4 minutes per side. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Cook until fragrant, then stir in the honey and dried lavender. Let the mixture simmer for a minute or two until the flavors meld together.

Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning the honey lavender glaze over them. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through and the glaze has thickened slightly.

Once done, remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Drizzle any remaining glaze over the chops for an extra burst of flavor.
