Today’s Unique Creation: Spicy Chocolate Avocado Mousse

I’m excited to share a brand new recipe with you today that’s perfect for those who love a little heat with their sweet. The combination of rich chocolate and creamy avocado, with a kick of spicy chili, creates a flavor experience like no other. This dish is great for a special dessert or a unique treat to impress your guests.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado (about 200g)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (15g)
  • 2 tbsp honey (30g)
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • for topping

To start, scoop out the flesh of a ripe avocado and add it to a food processor. Next, add in the cocoa powder, honey, chili powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend everything together until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.

Once your mixture is silky and well combined, transfer it to a mixing bowl. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

When you’re ready to serve, divide the mousse into individual dishes and top each one with a dollop of whipped cream for a decadent finish. The contrast of the spicy chocolate mousse and the smooth whipped cream is a delightful surprise for your taste buds.
