Hey there, foodies! Today, I’m excited to share with you a spicy tofu stir-fry recipe that’s perfect for those who love a little heat in their meals. This dish is great for a cozy night in or a quick weeknight dinner that’s both flavorful and satisfying.

Ingredients:

  • firm tofu (400g)
  • bell peppers (150g)
  • broccoli florets (200g)
  • soy sauce (30ml)
  • sriracha (15ml)
  • sesame oil (15ml)
  • garlic (3 cloves, minced)
  • ginger (1-inch piece, grated)
  • green onions (2, sliced)
  • cooked rice (for serving)

Kitchen Tools:

  • wok
  • knife
  • cutting board
  • spatula
  • measuring cup

To start, press the tofu to remove excess water and cut it into cubes. Heat a wok over medium-high heat and add sesame oil. Add the tofu cubes and cook until they are golden brown on all sides. Remove the tofu from the wok and set it aside.

In the same wok, add a bit more sesame oil if needed, then add minced garlic and grated ginger. Stir-fry for a minute until fragrant. Add in the broccoli florets and sliced bell peppers, cooking until they are slightly tender but still crisp.

Return the tofu to the wok and add soy sauce, sriracha, and a splash of water if needed to create a sauce. Toss everything together and cook for another few minutes until everything is well coated and heated through.

Serve the spicy tofu stir-fry over cooked rice and garnish with sliced green onions for a burst of freshness. Enjoy the spicy kick of this dish!
