Spicy Honey Garlic Shrimp Stir Fry

Ingredients:

  • fresh shrimp (300g, peeled and deveined)
  • garlic cloves (3, minced)
  • fresh ginger (1 tbsp, grated)
  • red bell pepper (1, sliced)
  • broccoli florets (1 cup)
  • honey (2 tbsp)
  • soy sauce (3 tbsp)
  • sriracha sauce (1 tbsp)
  • cornstarch (1 tbsp)
  • cooked rice (for serving)

Kitchen Tools:

  • wok
  • knife
  • cutting board
  • measuring spoons
  • spatula

To start, heat some oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring until fragrant. Next, toss in the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque.

Now, add the sliced bell pepper and broccoli to the wok. In a small bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, sriracha, and cornstarch to create a sauce. Pour this sauce over the shrimp and veggies in the wok, stirring continuously until everything is coated and the sauce has thickened.

Once the shrimp and veggies are cooked through and the sauce has thickened, remove the wok from the heat. Serve the spicy honey garlic shrimp stir fry over a bed of cooked rice.
